" Void Trap Hole" can make short work of this card, as after bypassing the target immunity, negates its protections. Counter Trap Cards like " The Huge Revolution is Over", " Tachyon Transmigration", " Nine Pillars of Yang Zing", or " Unwavering Bond" can be very effective against this card, as they can negate its effect while circumventing its immunity against destruction. "Dimensional Barrier" can also prevent this card's Fusion Summon. Effects that remove without targeting or destroying, and do not require the Battle Phase, include " Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier", " Kozmojo", " Orea, the Sylvan High Arbiter", and " True King Agnimazud, the Vanisher". " Skill Drain" and/or " Dimensional Barrier" will leave this card vulnerable to any form of monster removal. 
Similarly, " Buster Blader, the Dragon Destroyer Swordsman" will prevent either of this monster's effects from activating." Simply Fusion Summoning " Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon" can give yourself up to 3 of the 4 required Fusion Materials at once if "Vortex Dragon" is Summoned using specifically any one of " Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon", " Odd-Eyes Rebellion Dragon" or " Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon" as the required Xyz Monster, plus either " Odd-Eyes Meteorburst Dragon" or " Odd-Eyes Wing Dragon" as the required Synchro Monster. The effect of " Odd-Eyes Fusion" can be used to accumulate the necessary Fusion Materials from your Extra Deck in preparation for using either one of these cards. " Predaplant Chimerafflesia" can be sent to the Graveyard along with the Fusion Materials in order to add "Miracle Synchro Fusion" to the hand. 
" Gale Dogra" can also work, especially if you have " DNA Surgery" active (with Psychic declared) and " Telekinetic Charging Cell" equipped or " Brain Research Lab" on the field.
The effect of " Zaborg the Mega Monarch" can be used to send this card's Fusion Materials to the Graveyard. In a mid or late game, "Dragon's Mirror" or "Miracle Synchro Fusion" can be used to Fusion Summon this card, by banishing from the Graveyard Dragon monsters that were sent to the Graveyard over the course of the Duel. The easiest way to Summon this card is using "Chronograph Sorcerer" in tandem with the Magicians: " Black Fang Magician", " White Wing Magician", " Double Iris Magician" and " Purple Poison Magician". This card can also be Fusion Summoned with " Fusion Gate", " Flash Fusion", " Fusion Substitute", " Performapal Trump Witch", " Dragon's Mirror", " Odd-Eyes Fusion", " Performapal Odd-Eyes Dissolver", " Performapal Splashmammoth", " Miracle Synchro Fusion", " Astrograph Sorcerer" and " Chronograph Sorcerer".
